Frequently Asked Questions
No, a manicure is not the same as a full set. A full set includes the building of extended nails with the use of powder, builder hard gel, or Gel X. A manicure is the process of cutting cuticles, massages, and warm towel treatment. A manicure can be an added service to your full sets and fills.
From our customer experiences, Gel X does last as long as a full set depending on how well the person takes care of their nails.
Gel X is a professional press-on made of gel material that’s glued up to your cuticle. It’s already pre-lengthed and pre-shaped.
A full set is placing tips on the edge of your nails and cut and shaped to your desired length. The price increases as the length increases. It uses powder or builder hard gel to build the foundation base to your nails.
It varies per person, but typically every 2-3 weeks.
Both versions are used to build full sets and to fill-in nails. For the acrylic version, we use high-quality powder to build the foundation for your extended nail set. For the hard gel version, instead of using powder, we use a high-quality type of gel polish that’s thicker in consistency to build length on your natural nails or enhancements.
No, the use of builder hard gel uses high-quality industry gel that’s thicker than using gel polish. Builder hard gel is not polish, but the base foundation.
