Preparing for your nail appointment can feel overwhelming, but it’s essential to us to ensure you’re getting the right services and making the most of your visit. At Peacock Nails, we want you to leave our salon happy and satisfied with the results. Here’s how you can successfully navigate your next appointment and ensure that you’ll return to Peacock Nails for all your nail needs.
1. Booking the Right Services
Knowing which nail services suit your needs is essential before booking your appointment.
- A manicure focuses on cleaning, shaping, and polishing your natural nails. Choose this option if you prefer the look of your natural nails or simply want to keep them neat and polished.
- A full set is ideal for longer nails or a dramatic transformation. We apply extensions that can be customized in shape, length, and design.
- A fill is required if you already have a full set and your natural nails have grown out, leaving a gap near the cuticle. Filling this space will restore the seamless appearance.
If you love how acrylics look but want a more gentler application, we recommend trying Gel X nails. Gel X provides a gentler, more flexible extension system that overlays your natural nails and encourages growth. This is suitable for those seeking long-lasting extensions without damaging their natural nails.
2. Preparing for Nail Designs
While you may have a perfect nail design in mind, it’s always wise to bring a few backup designs to your appointment. Here’s why:
- Skill Availability: Although our nail technicians are highly skilled, some intricate designs may require specialized expertise that not all technicians possess. Sometimes, the specific technician with the skills is off that day.
- Budget Consideration: Complex designs can add to your budget, so if you have more than one idea exploring more cost-effective styles, you’ll leave our salon happy with your nail design.
3. Timing at Peacock Nails
Peacock Nails is not a same-time service salon. Our technicians provide one-on-one service, meaning you may need extra time with us, especially if you select services and/or designs that can add time to your appointment. We recommend factoring in ample time for your visit to ensure you’re not rushed and can enjoy a stress-free experience.
4. Familiarize Yourself with Policies
All professional salons will have essential policies to protect clients and offer the best care and service. At Peacock Nails, we’ve crafted policies for repairs, personal tools, appointments, and walk-ins that you can view below before your appointment with us.
Repairs: If you have concerns about your hands or feet services after leaving our store, you are encouraged to call us immediately within 7 days. However, as we are aware that nail damages can happen at home and may not be the responsibility of the salon even if they fall within the 7-day timeframe, our repairs are not always free of charge.
Our team will prepare a case with the internal team for review and notify you of a solution you can come to terms with. If you are directed to go to the store within a specific timeframe but cannot make it due to personal scheduling issues, we do not offer discounts or refunds on the experience. If repairs are required but fall outside the returnable timeframe, you may need to pay full price for the services.
If you contact the salon to request a discount or refund due to a scheduling conflict, please be advised that we do not accommodate such requests.
Personal tools: We advise our clients not to bring their own tools or products from home, as we constantly ensure a clean and hygienic working environment in our salon. The tools at Peacock Nails are cleaned and disinfected after every single use. Bringing your tools does not lower the pricing for your nail services and designs.
Appointments: We ask for your kindness and patience as our team needs those few extra minutes to finish our services. Help come prepared with color ideas, backup designs (in case a design is too complex for our expertise or out of your budget range), parking, and check-in. Arriving more than 7 minutes late to check in for your appointment will automatically place you on our walk-in list regardless if you call in advance. If your plans have changed and you cannot make your appointment, please provide a courtesy call to Peacock Nails to let us know so that we can help assist other customers.
We have the right to schedule your appointment if you decide to change your color or design when we are close to completion or have completed your service. It is only fair to the next appointment after your and our staff members’ time. We are happy to have you return to get your service fixed or redone within a reasonable time frame.
Walk-ins: We accept walk-ins on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you decide to leave to walk around the plaza, head to Starbucks, etc. after placing your information down, there is no guarantee that we can accept you when you return due to the high number of no-shows, even with phone confirmations. We try to be fair to all guests, including the ones who are willing to wait in-store.
