How is the donation amount determined?
Peacock Nails will donate a portion of our net proceeds with a minimum goal of 5%. The amount of our sales, after taxes, expenses, etc. will be contributed to support the charitable cause close to our hearts.
Net proceeds are the final amount of money that a business is entitled to receive concerning the disposal of an asset, less all the related expenses like commission, fees, rent, etc., that are already paid, and it is calculated by deducting all the selling costs from the sale price of an asset.
What’s the goal amount you want to raise?
As a small business, we aim to raise as much portion proceeds as possible while accepting donations from our customers, technicians, families and friends. No amount of donation is too small to help support the cause.
Would you be able to make additional contributions to the cause?
Yes! You can directly provide Peacock Nails with the dedicated donation and will donate 100% of it to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, or you can now visit their website and donate there, too!
How will Peacock Nails communicate updates about the charitable initiatives?
During the first week of November, Peacock Nails will announce the total portion of proceeds made (the 5% from net profits). They will publicly post on social media (i.e., Instagram) how much was raised, in addition to how much additional was a dedicated donation from our customers, technicians, family and friends.
